PROJECT X is an espresso and coffee blend created for Sawada Coffee and Hiroshi Sawada by Metropolis Coffee Company. Starting from samples of beans Hiroshi roasted for his Tokyo cafe, and working in secret (Code Name: “Project X”), Metropolis fashioned a blend that seamlessly recreated not just the flavor of his classic Japanese style, but also its intent. Coffee may be a simple and everyday experience, but when it’s perfect, it makes part of your day perfect, too. That’s world-class coffee culture.

Best coffee ever
I just love this bean. It is roasted to perfection and has clear flavor notes that are well separated using my home espresso setup. The beans are well graded with full beans and no broken pieces. I cannot say enough about the flavor and mouth feel. A clear winner in my humble opinion.
It also helps that I live just a few blocks from their Granville Cafe so I can get fresh, well roasted locally sourced coffee. It checks all my boxes and my hat is off to the roasters.
Really expensive, but Great product! And Great taste if you are a big coffee lover like me!
