Redline Espresso

I’ve been pulling shots with Metropolis Redline for over 10 years, and it remains a cornerstone of my espresso setup. I keep two grinders: one dedicated to rotating specialty coffees, and the other always filled with Redline—ready in the hopper for my first extraction of the day.

What keeps me coming back is its unmatched consistency. The extraction is always smooth and predictable, which is not something I can say for many specialty beans. Redline delivers a rich, chocolate-forward profile that feels both classic and satisfying, regardless of what other beans I’m exploring at the time.

Whether I’m experimenting or dialing in something new, Redline is the baseline I trust. It’s a reliable, delicious standard that’s earned a permanent place in my coffee ritual.

Rich flavor for perfect espresso

Consistent and flavorful. Metropolis has a variety of blends that each have their own character, so I can switch off to keep my palate from getting bored -- but always end up coming back to Redline as my home base.

I never write reviews. But this espresso is so other-worldly, I felt compelled. Incredibly smooth. Not bitter or over-roasted. My favorite espresso, of all I have tasted around the globe!
