Redline Espresso

I am a long time coffee drinker and started making my own espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes at home during COVID. Earlier this year in 2025, I discovered Metropolis through my family member who works at a very large food service company. She shared samples of different types of coffee from Metropolis. I was immediately hooked with the freshness of the beans and their ethical business practices. I now purchase beans from them and share with my family members. They all agree that Metropolis coffee tastes great. I live in the east coast and visit Chicago at least one or twice per year. I will make my way to Metropolis during my next visit.

What keeps me coming back is its unmatched consistency. The extraction is always smooth and predictable, which is not something I can say for many specialty beans. Redline delivers a rich, chocolate-forward profile that feels both classic and satisfying, regardless of what other beans I’m exploring at the time.
