Our roasterie backs up against the banks of the mighty (if not always squeaky clean) Chicago River. We have a couple of folding chairs, and sometimes we like to sit at sunrise, pondering the nature of paradox and/or infinity. One day, while sipping a dark and very experimental espresso, we were inspired to call it Riverfront. Really, Metropolis? couldn't you come up with a more inspired name? Well, if you had been there you would have called it Riverfront too.

I've tried a number of different Metropolis roasts...so many good ones to choose from, but Riverfront is a always one of the bags in every order I place. I find it extremely well balanced. It's easy to dial in for a solid shot and also produces a great pour over.
Makes for a very nice espresso. And also great for affogatos
