Dark Roast
Organic dark roast espresso hangs as heavy on the palate as smoke on the water.
Our roasterie backs up against the banks of the mighty (if not always squeaky clean) Chicago River. We have a couple of folding chairs, and sometimes we like to sit at sunrise, pondering the nature of paradox and/or infinity. One day, while sipping a dark and very experimental espresso, we were inspired to call it Riverfront. Really, Metropolis? couldn't you come up with a more inspired name? Well, if you had been there you would have called it Riverfront too.
